Automated Control

Solenoid valves manage CO₂ during the entire exposure period.

Target Range

Maintains 61–65% and reopens below 60% automatically.

96 Hour Hold

Keep recommended exposure levels without being on-site.

Alerts & Logs

Text alerts, real-time monitoring, and datalogging.

How It Works

The Cardinal CO₂ Controller will monitor and apply carbon dioxide into a fumigation enclosure automatically using solenoid valves over the fumigation exposure period. Concentrations can be pre-set to shut off the solenoids once the concentration has reached the target of approximately 61%–65%, and re-open the valves when the concentration dips below 60%.

Solenoid Valves

Solenoid Valves

The Cardinal CO₂ Controller can operate two different solenoid valves: one controls CO₂ flow into the enclosure; the other (optional) controls an exhaust outlet to minimize excess pressure—allowing quick increases in CO₂ concentration.

IGI CO₂

IGI CO₂

IGI CO₂ is an EPA Registered fumigant approved by the Washington State Department of Agriculture for use on certified organic commodities (7CFR Part 205). Cardinal Professional Products is the exclusive distributor for Liphatech, who owns the US Registration.

Remote Access

Check live concentrations and status from anywhere with internet access, and receive text alerts when valves activate.

You can maintain this concentration over the recommended 96-hour exposure without being on-site to apply the fumigant.

The Controller can send a message when adjustments are made, or you can log in remotely to monitor concentrations in real time.

Comprehensive datalogging is also available for record-keeping and compliance.

IGI CO₂ Stewardship Training

IGI CO₂ Stewardship Training

All applicators must attend a CO₂ Stewardship Training Program.
